Information We Collect
- Information provided in subscription agreements, questionnaires, or other forms. This information may include things such as names, contact information, social security numbers, tax identification numbers, demographic data, investment objectives, risk tolerance and information about your assets and income;
- Information about transactions with TEA and ownership interests in Equity Alliance Funds. This could include information such as participation in one or more TEA funds, capital account balances, contributions and distributions, and beneficiary information;
- Information gathered from other interactions with us or our affiliates. This could include information obtained from discussions or other contact with our staff via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media; and
- Sensitive Personal Information. We may collect demographic information from you such as information regarding your race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status and citizenship or immigration status. Such information collected in connection with our investment services is subject to the GLBA and is not subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). To the extent that any demographic information is information is subject to CCPA, it may be considered sensitive personal information, and we ask that you see our California Privacy Notice for any such information potentially subject to the CCPA.

Information We Disclose
We may share non-public personal information about you to our affiliates or to non-affiliated third parties in connection with the administration and operation of the Equity Alliance investment programs, such as disclosures to attorneys, accountants, auditors, administrators, placement agents, investment managers, banks, broker-dealers, credit providers, portfolio companies, brokerage firms and relevant affiliates or service providers of these third parties. if you are invested in an Equity Alliance Fund, consistent with industry practice and the provision of the Equity Alliance Fund agreements, we will continue to distribute certain personally-identifiable financial information, such as the schedule of investors to the fund agreement and certain capital account information, to all investors in each specific fund and their representatives.
To maintain our commitment to investing in diverse funds, we use demographic data that you provide to better understand our fund partners and ensure that we continue to partner with diverse funds and fund managers. While we also plan to use this data to create annual reports on the composition of our portfolio, the data in our reports will be fully aggregated such that individual funds or fund managers would not be specifically identified. No data will be shared externally except for that which is reported on an aggregated basis.
We will not disclose non-public personal information we collect about you to nonaffiliated third parties except as necessary in connection with: (i) maintaining and servicing investment accounts and effectuating investment transactions; (ii) engaging in joint marketing arrangements with financial institutions; and (iii) protecting against fraud and complying with our legal obligations, including responding to governmental requests. We do not sell your non-public personal or financial information. Because we do not sell or disclose your non-public personal and financial information to nonaffiliated third parties except as noted above, our Notice does not contain opt-out provisions. We will continue to adhere to these policies and practices even after you no longer have an investment with us.
